Ellie Goulding
Ellie Goulding - born Elena Jane Goulding (30 December 1986) in Hereford (England), is an English singer/songwriter. The infectious electronic music of Ellie Goulding swiftly brought her to the top charts after she caught the attention of people in the year 2010. Her ability to accomplish this through the singles "Starry Eyed" and "Guns and Horses". Although she started out writing songs in a folk-inflected style, she eventually grew into a more electronic-influenced artist, touching upon dance music and ambient synth pop. Goulding makes a mark as a contemporary musician with her distinctive singing voice that is soprano and the ability of writing songs that are both captivating and empathetic. Her style is similar in many ways to Kate Bush, Imogen Heap and other musicians with similar styles. In the end, she signed a major-label agreement with Polydor Records and began making arrangements to launch her debut album.
