Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American broadcast reporter. Bolduan is most famously known as the anchor for the CNN morning program At This Hour. She co-anchored CNN's weekday morning shows New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has contributed to CNN's coverage on both the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. In Washington DC, she has reported on both the US House as well as the US Senate. Bolduan covered congressional and legislative events, such as the negotiations for raising the federal debt ceiling and super committee discussions. As general assignment reporters, she has covered stories like the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. She was hired by CNN Newsource as National Correspondent in 2007.
