Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah (born in India) is a playback vocalist as well as an actress and musician. Her main work is as an actor and a music composer for Tamil as well as Malayalam-language movies. Annayum Raolum is her Malayalam as well as Tamil debut. She debuted in Tamil with Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea Jeremiah was born in an Anglo-Indian family at Arakkonam the capital of Tamil Nadu.Andrea's father works as a solicitor in the Madras High Court. Her mother is the older sibling of the researcher assistant Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai was a student at Chennai National Public School. He was a graduate of Women's Christian College. Andrea was able to begin studying piano when she was eight. Andrea was a huge geek who wanted to become psychiatrist. She sang in the Jackson Five style troupe Young Stars in the age of 10. The group was the beginning of her singing and music composition career. She also worked as a stage performer during college. Andrea was also one of the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea started her career in theatre through Girish Karnad's Nagamandala. In 2006, she starred in a leo commercial along with actor Shiva. Also, she was a part of a serial which relayed in Podhigai channel. She has appeared in all parts of India. She played a minor role for the Kanda Mudhal final (2005). Gautham Menon enlisted Andrea to be the main character following her performance. she sang in Vettaiyaadu Vilaiyaadu. The film was an adaptation of James Siegel's novel Derailed with Andrea as Kalyani a homemaker whose husband is involved in an affair and is forced to confess. Andrea took on the role of Kalyani following auditions. Simran Shobana, Tabu and other actresses were offered the chance to audition. The film was first released in 2010. Her minor role was accepted in Venkat's Mankatha that was released in 2011. The film featured a variety of actors. Annayum Rasoolum which is a romance film produced by Rajeeev R. made in 2013, marked the actress's Malayalam debut.
